Singer Riley Green Makes Entertainment Headlines | zz-dnp
Riley Green was named “New Male Artist of the Year” at the 2020 American Country Music Awards.
According to its official website, “Billboard describes Riley’s music as “accessible and winning songs” while American songwriter proclaims that his “talents as a storyteller shine brilliantly.”
Riff whiskey further notes that he is part of a small group that has “brought country back to its roots: blue collar workers ring for the worker, by the worker”, evident in his GOLD certified debut album “There Was This Girl” and “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” PLATINUM certified ballad.
In addition to his own hit dates, Riley has already hit the road with Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and Jon Pardi. He joins Dierks Bentley’s ‘Beers on Me’ tour which begins August 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Meshoppen appearance has been canceled, and fans of this year’s concerts will be feasting on Friday, September 3 with special guest Nate Hosie.

Michael Wilson Hardy was born in Mississippi in 1990 and is known professionally as Hardy (stylized in all caps), as an American country music singer and songwriter.
Her current Top 25 single is “One Beer”. The boundary-pushing collection follows the 2019 HiXTAPE VOL country mixtape. 1 which was lauded by Billboard as “one of the most ambitious projects of the year” with the career launch EPs “This Old Boy and” Where to Find Me “.
According to its official website, it continues to “embody that classic country spirit while pushing the boundaries of modern radio music” (American songwriter) as a songwriter, winning four # 1 PLATINUM certified singles in 18 months – 2X PLATINUM “Up Down” by Morgan Wallen, 2X PLATINUM “Simple” by FGL, PLATINUM “I Don’t Know About You” by Chris Lane and 2X PLATINUM by Blake Shelton “Land of God”.

Tangerine Dreams: Wednesday, September 1 at 7 p.m. Bad Liars: Thursday, September 2, at 6 p.m. Wells River Band: Friday, September 3, 3 p.m. Dallas Carter Band: Sunday, September 5, at noon; and The Frost Duo: Monday, September 6 at 1 p.m.
In addition, two local bands will take to the fairgrounds. Elk Lake High School Band will be released Thursday, September 2 at noon; and, Tunkhannock Area High School Band will be released on Friday, September 3 at 3 p.m. ET.
Riley Green’s main artist on Friday is Nate Hosie. He is known to Outdoor Channel viewers on HeadHunters. The Montdale resident has also completed work on his brand new country music album. Like many country artists, Hosie’s original music focuses on his passion for life, the outdoors, and his patriotism. “I live the life that I sing about in my songs,” Hosie said.
The main artist for Hardy is John Morgan. He’s from North Carolina and brings to the country a blue collar tenacity that comes straight from the one life he knows. He started acting at age eight and had traveled with Jason Aldean’s Back In The Saddle tour. His first song, ‘Coldest Beer In Town’ is available now.
