Selena Gomez says she’s ‘still learning’ as she reflects on turning 30
Selena Gomez says she’s ‘someone still learning, but more sure of what matters’ as she reflects on her recent 30th birthday.
The American singer and actress said she was “starting to really love 30” and moving forward with the help of “so many strong, empowering people”.
Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday last Friday, July 22.
Writing on Instagram, she said: “I had a moment to catch up. Although there are so many words to say, I’ll just leave it at that.
“My twenties were a journey through good, hard and beautiful times that I will never forget. Each one of them made me the person I am today.
“I’m someone who is still learning, but more sure about what matters and what she wants.
“Someone who is grateful for every gift and every lesson along the way. I am moving forward encouraged by so many strong and empowering people around me…
“I want to do my best to take the beautiful and the painful one day at a time and let it all make me the best me I can be for myself/others/you.
“After a few days of partying, my heart feels full, grateful and I can say I’m starting to really love 30.
“Thank you so much for being a part of my life, it’s been another decade! I love you all inside and out it hurts so much!
In addition to his successful music career, Gomez also stars alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short in the Disney+ comedy series Only Murders In The Building.
