New Music Friday! Check out new songs from Dionne Warwick, Leon Bridges, Ann Wilson, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle and more!

Welcome back to our ongoing series where we share with you some of our favorite songs and music videos that have been released this week.

In our latest episode, discover tracks from Leon Bridges, Debbie Gibson, Death Valley Girls, Dionne Warwick and many more.

1. On Tuesday (January 18), Khruangbin & Leon Bridges released their latest single, “Chocolate Hills”, which hints at a new album, texan moon, released on February 18. Check out the flowing track below.

2. Also on Tuesday, famous pop star Debbie Gibson released a series of remixes for her song “One Step Closer.” Check out the batch of songs via SoundCloud below and get ready to dance your socks off!

3. Thought-provoking Seattle rapper Sol has released his latest single, “In My Pocket.” The song evokes the golden age of hip-hop when the genre offered a window into the minds of emcees, their daily lives and their perspective on what surrounds them. Oh, and the song is also very catchy.

4. Southern California rockers Death Valley Girls released their latest song, “When I’m Free,” earlier this week. The track features delicious wonky lyrics, moon-piercing organs, and just an overall sense of enjoyment. We love Death Valley Girls.

5. Actress and musician Victoria Blade released her latest music video for the song “I Don’t Wanna Worry” this week. Blade, who is a talented singer and songwriter, was also a star of the TV show Wanda Vision in 2021, playing the role of Commercial Woman. Check out the new video below.

6. This week, popular American band The Head and the Heart announced an upcoming 2022 tour. And to celebrate the news, the band released their new single today, “Every Shade of Blues”, which you can see below.

7. Everyone’s favorite Twitter personality and musical aunt, Dionne Warwick, released her latest song this week, “Power In The Name,” which features lyricist Krayzie Bone (of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony) and producer Nomad. Check out the heartfelt melody below.

8. Seattle-born rock band Band of Horses released their latest single this week, “Lights.” The song is on the band’s upcoming album, which will be released on March 4. Check out the rocker below.

9. In the history of rock, there are no two voices more important than those of Ann Wilson and Layne Staley. So when Wilson covered Alice in Chains’ famous hit, “Rooster,” we have to take that into account. What an interpretation.

10. Is there a better guitarist on planet earth other than Billy Strings? The answer is no. Well, not to get distracted by the hierarchy, it’s just fun to celebrate the artist for all his prowess on his instrument. So, let’s go and check out her latest single and music video for the song “Love And Regret” below.

11. This week, Pedro the Lion (aka David Bazan) surprised fans by releasing a brand new album. Rather than give away a single single here, let’s just enjoy the entire nearly 40-minute opus below from the cerebral artist.

12. Gorgeous Baltimore-born band Beach House released the final chapter of songs from their upcoming album earlier this week. To verify Once Twice Melody: Chapter Three below in all its shimmering glory.

13. Valerie June has released a new cover of Nick Drake’s song, “Pink Moon.” What a combination. Check out the visualizer video for rendering below from one of our favorites.

14. Today (January 21), the incredible six-stringer Molly Tuttle announced her new album, twisted tree, which is slated for release on April 1. To celebrate the news, the artist shared the titular single from the LP, which you can check out below.
