Elton John postpones shows after positive COVID test – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Both of Elton John’s shows at the American Airlines Center in Dallas have been postponed after the singer tested positive for COVID-19.
The singer is fully vaccinated and boosted and is only showing mild symptoms at the moment.
The shows were scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday January 25 and 26. The concert should be postponed to a later date.
The following message has been shared with fans.
“It is with great regret that the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour dates in Dallas scheduled for Tuesday January 25th and Wednesday January 26th have to be rescheduled as Elton recently tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, Elton is completely vaccinated and boosted and has only mild symptoms. Fans should hold on to their tickets as they will be honored on the rescheduled dates to be announced shortly. Elton and the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour look forward to returning to the stage shortly.”
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour kicked off in North America on January 19 in New Orleans. After Dallas, Elton John was to play in Little Rock and Oklahoma City. For now, these dates remain on the calendar.
