Prince William, Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth have no plans to meet Prince Harry, Meghan Markle

Following the announcement, royal fans immediately assumed the trip would be the perfect opportunity for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to reunite with the Royal Family. However, New Idea has confirmed that this will not be the case. After all, the couple’s trip will be strictly for work.

Even though Prince Harry and Markle will be very close to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s supposed future home, Adelaide Cottage, there is no indication that the Sussexes will visit the Cambridges.

Queen Elizabeth would also not meet with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex while they are in England, as she already has a tight schedule for dates they are abroad.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not reunite with the Cambridges in the US

Prior to the announcement of Prince Harry and Markle’s engagement, it had already been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be traveling to the United States for the Earthshot Awards.

Following the announcement, several royal experts confirmed that the Cambridges would not visit the Sussexes even though they are already at home. After all, they will be traveling to the United States for an official engagement and will not be reunited with their families.

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, a reunion between the Sussexes and the Cambridges seems unlikely unless it is pre-arranged, according to Sky News. After all, the chances of the couples meeting while they are all in England or the United States are zero.

Prince William, Prince Harry’s relationship remains estranged

Meanwhile, royal insiders are also convinced Prince William and Prince Harry haven’t mended their estranged relationship. So when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to England for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, the brothers did not reunite either.

Prince William and Middleton even skipped Lilibet Diana’s first birthday party, which was held at Frogmore Cottage, as they had royal engagements with their children elsewhere.

According to Us Weekly, the brothers’ relationship hit rock bottom after the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah Winfrey aired last year.

“William doesn’t know who [Harry] is no more and trust between them is strained. The Royal Family have been burned so many times by the Duke of Sussex’s vocal criticism. They will never recover from the damage that has been done,” the source said.
