Amazon’s “A League Apart” TV Series: What We Know
There is (yet) no crying in baseball. Rockford peaches will be revisited in next from Amazon A league apart TV series – and fans of the classic film can officially expect to see at least one familiar face.

A league apart, which is a fictional story based on the real women’s baseball league that started during WWII, played Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell and Tom hanks. As production on the show began in July 2021, O’Donnell revealed she will be making an appearance.
âI play a bartender in one of the scenes at the local gay bar,â the comedian said on the âEverything Iconic With Danny Pellegrinoâ podcast. âI had a great experience on A league apart. I like Big city women and when I was told [Abbi] was doing League, she called me up and said, “Ro, would you?
